Tell us about Yourself
I am Rayneeda owner of Bam 2 Glam Beauty Bar. I was a Paralegal for over 20 years and lost my drive for it. I have always wanted to be in the beauty industry. After turning 40 I figured it was time for a change and since I can’t do hair, I started as a makeup artist, and that lead me to the lash industry.

When Life Gives You Lemons
How would you turn a negative situation into something positive?
After enrolling and paying my full tuition cosmetology school, I found out that they didn’t have a teacher with enough knowledge to train us. I applied for online courses and took what training the teacher could offer until I got my 320 hours and passed my State Exam.

Making HERStory
What and/or Who inspired you to follow your dream?
My ex-husband is such a business professional. He asked me after I got laid off years ago to create my own business, follow my heart and to dream big dreams. He helps me behind the scenes with Bam 2 Glam and inspires me daily.
