I Am Woman
Tell us about Yourself
I have been told I am a fighter because of having Sickle Cell Disease. I am a go-getter. If I want something in life, I am going to work hard to get it. I am also passionate at what I was blessed with which is writing. As an author of several books and a blogger, I find passion while doing it. I am also determined. Whatever goals I set for myself, I strive hard and motivate myself to reach my goals in life. Nothing shall stop me from dreaming.

When Life Gives You Lemons
How would you turn a negative situation into something positive?
By encouragement and meditating. I hate dealing with negativity of all sorts, so I dismiss the situation on a positive note and just speak positive thoughts to myself to cover my soul, heart and body for the negative energy.

Making HERStory
What and/or Who inspired you to follow your dream?

Honestly my parents are the ones who inspired me to follow my dreams. I started writing at a very early age of nine and since then I knew God had blessed me with a special gift. Being published has been nothing but blessings to see my name on a product I have created.

Keeping Up With the Bosses
Tell us about Your Business
As an author of six books, I like to inspire, encourage and motivate through each one of my books, whether it's poetry, urban Christian, my children's books or fiction, I want people to take away a powerful message. My other business is Lil' Woman on a Mission Writing Service, LLC which basically provides writing and planning services for non-profits, small businesses, small charities, authors, bloggers and new writers. I created this business to give back to people who need writing tools to bring a little bit more creation in their business. I coach and consultant individuals to get a little creative when reaching their targeted audience.

Empowering Bosses
What advice would you give to an upcoming Entrepreneur?
First to be Authentic. Be You! If you want it bad enough, be prepared to work hard at it. Don't ever give up when things get hard because believe me they will, but keep pressing and moving forward. You are blessed with an assignment and your job is to complete it to the very end.

TogetHER WE WIN
What's your definition of Women Empowerment?
My definition is united to succeed. To support one another through the good and the bad. Positive women are supposed to encourage their sisters and speak life over them. Women Empowerment doesn't tear one another down or talk bad about them when someone has make a mistake.

Seeds of Sisterhood
What's your ingredients to a long-lasting sisterhood?

Encouragement, Positivity, Confidence, United and Trust.

Ready. Set. Goal
What is your Goal in life?

My Ultimate goal is to be successful in everything that I do in life. I want to be able to be a blessing to someone and to motivate them to keep doing.

Keep Encouraging Yourself
What advice can you give yourself?

To start speaking positivity over my life and never allow distractions to come my way. To pray more and love myself so that I can become a better person.
